Job Description Summary
As the GA Plant Leader, you are the commercial and operational steward of the plant. You will champion the GE Vernova Way-a culture built on Lean, Customer Focus, Innovation, One Team, and Quality. You are accountable for the plant's full P&L, leveraging Standard Work, Robotics, and AI to drive operational excellence, while fostering a high-performance environment characterized by radical collaboration and relentless talent development. Job Description

EHS Leadership (The Priority):

  • Safety First: Serve as the primary EHS advocate for the site. Lead from the front by personally championing the "Zero Deviation" plan, conducting site safety walks, and ensuring that no operational or financial target takes precedence over the health and safety of our employees.
  • Culture of Accountability: Build a culture where safety is a personal responsibility for every team member. Ensure all processes, technologies, and Standard Work procedures integrate EHS protocols by design.


Financial & Operational Accountability:
  • P&L & Commercial Ownership: Full accountability for the plant's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance. You are responsible for achieving aggressive targets for Sales, Gross Margin (GM), and Operating Profit.
  • Financial Rigor: Oversee the annual operating budget and site-level financial planning. Manage cash flow, inventory levels, and Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) to ensure the business meets its financial commitments.
  • KPI Governance: Drive performance against the GSC dashboard, with a specific focus on EHS, Quality (minimizing COPQ and >98% FPY), On-Time Delivery >95% (OTD%), minimum OD and Cash conversion.
  • Strategic Alignment: Translate organizational goals into precise, actionable operational plans that align manufacturing output with regional sales forecasts and global demand.

Site Leadership:
  • Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives, including digital transformation or lean manufacturing implementations.
  • Community Relations: Act as the face of the site in the local community, managing relationships with local government, environmental agencies, and community leaders.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and the site staff; promote a positive, inclusive, and transparent work environment.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of managers, engineers, and support staff; foster a high-performance culture of accountability across the site
  • Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance and modernization of site assets, machinery, and facilities to maximize lifecycle and reliability


Major Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence (Lean & Quality): Institutionalize Standard Work to eliminate variation and waste. Drive a culture where Quality is the baseline and continuous improvement is the expectation.
  • Innovation (Robotics & AI): Lead the facility's digital transformation. Deploy Robotics and AI to optimize production cycles, improve throughput, and provide predictive insights that reduce costs and increase precision.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain an unwavering focus on the end-user. Ensure all processes, from order registration to final shipment, are optimized for the shortest lead-times and maximum reliability
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a boundary-spanner who cultivates a One Team mindset. Proactively collaborate with Sales, Sourcing, Quality, Industrialization and regional stakeholders to resolve complex bottlenecks and ensure the end-to-end supply chain functions as a unified engine.
  • Talent Development & Engagement: Build a "people-first" culture. You are responsible for identifying, hiring, and mentoring high-potential talent. Lead by example to motivate and engage the workforce, fostering an inclusive environment where psychological safety and professional development are prioritized


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Advanced degree/MBA preferred)
  • Extensive years of industry experience (Grid Automation preferred)
  • Significant years experience in a senior Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations leadership role
