Operations Leader
Job Description Summary
The Operations Leader for the Hot Gas Path (HGP) Cell at the PTG Service Center facility in Indonesia plays a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end daily operations-from planning through to execution. This position is accountable for ensuring that all activities within the HGP Cell are carried out safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality. Additionally, the role is expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives, promote operational excellence, solve problems, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- As Operations Leader, you will lead operations in HGP Cell within PTG Service Center facility in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This position will report directly to HGP Cell Leader.
- Providing accurate and detailed job planning, process instructions and procedures/technical oversight of work in process.
- Tracking job details (both HCH and WIP) to ensure the wing-to-wing process operations flow smoothly, together with Planner & Execution Leader.
- Responsible for interfacing with Safety, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Maintenance & Facility, Planner, and Logistic for operations related subjects.
- Maintain communication with leadership and internal & external customers of operational updates, issues, or any key subjects.
- Drive implementation of lean within operation lines and initiate any improvement that results in better Takt Time Attainment (TTA), by coordinating with Lean Team.
- Create and maintain data points during daily operations to ensure operational performance feasibility and support any data-driven actions. Conduct regular operation lines performance review and provide feedback to operations team.
- Oversee manpower assignments & shift allocation based on operational needs by considering skill matrix and certification, including controlling overtime schedule.
- Drive wing-to-wing lead time reduction projects for operation lines.
- Initiate escalation on any operational issues based on escalation matrix.
- Adhere to all EHS procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain discipline working environment per Company Regulation.
- Raise any concerns and/or stop works if observing any unsafe condition or quality risks during daily operations.
- Participate in GEV Lean Action Work Out (AWO) event.

Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (master's degree is a plus) in Engineering (Industrial, Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical, and other relevant majors) from a local or internationally reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, project management, or operational role.
- Experience in Lean would be advantageous (Green belt, Black belt certification is a plus).
- Intermediate level of active English is required (listening, writing, and speaking).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP (or any other ERP system).
- Willing to stay in Bandung.
