Job Description Summary

The Operational Excellence Leader is a strategic partner to the senior leadership team (SLT) of GE Vernova's GRID Software business. The Operational Excellence Leader is responsible for enabling organizational effectiveness, driving enterprise transformation, embedding Operational Excellence and Lean management systems across the Grid Software organization. The leader will champion operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and associate experience.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff & Transformation Leader for Grid Software, this role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for technology, strong strategic alignment, and the ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, a systems thinker, and a catalyst for change-empowering teams to deliver bold outcomes at scale.

Job Description

Enablement & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the SLT, translating vision into actionable goals and driving execution across the business.
  • Facilitate and evolve the Grid Software management system, including tiered accountability, visual management, and performance rhythms.
  • Optimize executive workflows, meeting cadences, and decision-making processes to enhance leadership productivity and alignment.
  • Represent the GRID business with 3rd parties ensuring continuity and strategic focus.

Transformation & Lean Leadership

  • Link Strategy to action enabling a multi-year transformation roadmap that transitions Grid Software from project-based delivery to software and expert services.
  • Drive Lean maturity across the organization through coaching, capability building, and foster a community of Lean leaders and scale Lean culture across Grid software.

  • Design and lead development of KPIs and dashboards to track progress against strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to structure planning rhythms and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Connect dots across functions to understand aggregate impacts and inform prioritization decisions.

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Enhance internal and external brand through strategic communications and storytelling.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across transformation initiatives and organizational updates.
  • Build trusted relationships across functions and geographies to drive integrated execution.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in transformation, Lean, strategy, or business operations roles.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in matrixed, global organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Financial and data analysis
  • Project management experience, lean certification a plus.
  • Experience in Agile, digital product environments
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and mediation skills, M&A experience a plus.
  • Expertise in organizational design, budgeting, and workforce strategy.

Additional Information

The base pay range for this position is 195,200.00 - 244,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 20% Variable Incentive Bonus. This posting is expected to close on September 29, 2025.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
