The O&M North America Operations Leader reports to the O&M Global Operations Director and supports the North America (NAM) Region Leader by driving operational excellence and efficiency within the NAM O&M team. This role involves performing site team performance reviews, developing and advising on effective staffing strategies, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support our strategic priorities. Must be well versed in taking large volumes of raw data and building reporting and tracking mechanisms. This role will work to improve the team's ability to achieve safety, service, quality and timeliness objectives. There is high autonomy within the role and high levels of sound operational judgment are required to achieve desired outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of leadership, influencing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
As the O&M North America Operations Leader , you will:
- Facilitate the NAM O&M team operating rhythm and supports Global O&M team operating rhythm for all priorities including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Create and analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare and disseminate regular reports to support discussions and decision-making, enabling data-driven actions to enhance operation efficiency, reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase operational availability.
- Maintain the NAM staffing model for all services sites/hubs in support of O&M goals including faster response time, improved unavailability, and crew efficiency.
- Resource analysis and pain point resolution around parts, paper, and people; Parts - includes piece parts, components, tooling, and equipment; Paper - includes work instructions, playbooks, service notices, or any other form of guidance needed to execute work; People - includes Safety behaviors, KSAs, training compliance, productivity, availability, and other challenges that could delay teams in executing work.
- Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
- Requires specialized knowledge within the function, specifically must be well versed in Tableau and various reporting tools.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high levels of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operations, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of established parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or data analytics from an accredited university or college (or a related technical degree and 4 years of leadership experience in Operations and Maintenance).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, with a preference for 4 years of Wind sector business operations and analysis experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel across North America up to 25% of the time and globally on occasion.

- Strong ability to utilize large volumes of raw data and transform it into KPIs. Advanced computer skills utilizing word and spreadsheet processing, e-mail programs, facility control and management systems, and computer diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of GE Vernova Wind product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

The base pay range for this position is $119,600.00 - 159,500.00 - 199,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15% (SPB). This posting is expected to close no earlier than June 15, 2025.
