Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the DC product line strategy for the North American region, aligned with customer demand, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Act as the regional voice-of-customer (VOC) to global product and engineering teams, ensuring North America-specific requirements are reflected in the product roadmap.
  • Lead product positioning, competitive analysis, and business case development for DC solutions in marine propulsion, energy storage, data centers, and industrial electrification.
  • Collaborate with regional commercial, engineering, and service teams to support bids, technical proposals, and project execution.
  • Guide regulatory compliance efforts based on North American standards (e.g., UL, IEEE, NEC, ABS).
  • Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, customers, and integrators to enhance market access and product competitiveness.
  • Represent GE Power Conversion at regional industry forums, conferences, and customer engagements.
  • Track product performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction; initiate product improvements and support lifecycle management activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in power electronics, DC systems, or energy infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a product or commercial leadership role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the North American power markets, regulatory landscape, and customer dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence global teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency (due to defense or regulated industry requirements).
  • Prior experience in marine, grid, or energy storage DC applications within the U.S. or Canada.
  • Familiarity with GE Power Conversion's product portfolio and customer base.
  • MBA or equivalent experience in product strategy and business development.
  • Experience interfacing with OEMs, utilities, shipyards, and EPCs in North America.
