MSD Fulfillment Team Leader
Job Description Summary
On-time delivery of equipment is a crucial customer satisfaction element of a Gas Power Plant project. In this role, you will serve as the team leader for several MSD Fulfillment Leaders in ensuring on-time delivery and continuous improvement for key project equipment in support of project execution requirements. The role will include both short term tactical and long-term strategic elements to ensure on time delivery from suppliers to project sites with optimized execution costs and minimal cost exposures and/or over-runs.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Tactical Execution
Lead execution related responsibilities with assigned MSD Fulfillment Leaders. Engage with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Commodity Leaders, Buyers, Suppliers, SQE's, Logistics, PSM and IPM Teams.

Support and lead operating routines to identify and resolve issues which will delay delivery such as:
- Daily Management operation with 3rd party support teams
- Tier 1-4 Pulse support for escalated issues
- Proactive OTD management of PLUD-12 risk surfacing for potential LD risk
- Issues impacting vendor to vendor items that may delay supplier integration schedules
- Design-related issues impacting on-time delivery
- Supplier related delay areas including sub-tier supplier delays
- Logistics exceptions (i.e. permitting, premium transportation decisions, over-dimensional equipment, hazardous or perishable material, etc.)
Support detailed action plans to address escalated items impacting site/contract delivery/LDs and lead recovery actions for critical capacity/throughput disruptions at suppliers.
Continuous Improvement
Using Problem Solving and Lean Tools, lead cross-functional teams and partner with our Strategic Fulfillment Leaders in identifying systemic causes of delivery delays and implementing long term improvement actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on late items where appropriate. Support improvement actions on top drivers including working w/ suppliers and our SFL's that would benefit from lean interventions
- Support milestones and tracking routines with key suppliers/ items to achieve better tracking and forecasting of delivery risk
- Develop, implement and support a framework for concurrent engineering where necessary to meet cycle requirements for certain products such as major Electrical compartments
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years Sourcing, Projects, Lean or Supply Chain Management experience
Desired
- Recent experience working in the Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or projects teams
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
- 5+ years of experience for Power Generation products;

The base pay range for this position is 125,000.00 - 166,700.00 - 208,300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% annual bonus.
