Job Description Summary
Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production equipment in the facility. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC problems in production equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and respond to production needs when they arise. Work in a team environment supporting production, EHS, and engineering activities.
Job Description
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and PLC equipment.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Define and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
- Maintenance Technician ensures equipment uptime through timely, in-depth trouble shooting and repair of all equipment failures.
