Job Description Summary

The Logistics Supervisor reports to the Materials and Logistics Manager and is responsible for the preparation of all necessary paperwork and the coordination of all necessary activities required to package and ship materials and products required to satisfy customer requirements.

The Logistics Supervisor may also be responsible for the proper handling of incoming products through the receiving docks, and stocking and handling of products.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of warehouse personnel in warehouse operations, demonstrating strong integration with manufacturing operations teams and cross functional stakeholders
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining departmental and individual goals and performance measures
  • Ensure members adhere to all work instructions and quality requirements
  • Responsible for managing budget, indirect labor expenses, purchase orders, etc.
  • Actively motivates direct reports and team/project members
  • Logistics Specific Functions includes: Prepares required customs documentation and consignment for sales for interplant, drop shipments and vendor shipments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or similar concentration OR a High School Diploma / GED with 5 years manufacturing experience
  • 3 years of experience in Materials, Logistics, Supply Chain and / or Warehouse and Inventory Control
  • Experience working with a SAP or OTM platform

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Forrester Drive location

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior leadership leading a team or operational process
  • Experience working with modern ERP: SAP platform
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets, including MS Excel
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage changing/conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Analytical and system proficiency skills
  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management

Pay Transparency

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $74,400.00 - $99,200.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on September 30, 2025, or thereafter.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
