Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description Summary

Position Overview: The Logistics Operations Manager will oversee and manage the efficient flow of inbound materials from suppliers to our wind factories and own port relationships in the US. This role is critical in ensuring that materials arrive on time, meet quality standards, and support production schedules. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and leadership.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Material Coordination:

• Develop and implement solutions for efficient inbound logistics operations.
• First point of contact for the factories as it relates to inbound logistics.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Monitor and optimize transportation routes and schedules

Operational Oversight:

• Monthly report outs to management on set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for factories that you are responsible for
• Provide guidance and leadership to the 4PL team
• RCCA on Premium Spend

Carrier Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with delivery and quality standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers and address any issues promptly.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all inbound materials meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Logistics and EHS team members to address any issues.

Team Leadership:

• Lead world in class solutions with logistics team members with a high understanding of the global supply chain
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the team.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
• Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and operational enhancements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for inbound logistics

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CIPS).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Oracle Transportation Management experience

The base pay range for this position is $98,400.00 - $131,200.00 - $164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% Annual variable incentive bonus. This posting is expected to close on 11/12/2025
