Job Description Summary

The Power Transmission - High Voltage Switchgear - Product sales specialist (PT HVS PSS) is co-owning with county/area sales leaders the accountability of delivery of order intake and margin for High Voltage Switchgear business in given countries or area, by providing technical competency to the external and internal customers and ensure valuable technical solution and optimized cost towards deal win strategy, driving bidding and negotiation process, fulfill both ITR and OTR procedure, while ensuring the strict application of GE Vernova Ethic, Compliance, and the processes

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Together with HVS PSS leader, PT country/area sales leader, define the country products selling strategic and channel to market strategy to deliver the target of order value, margin, cash flow and past due for PT HVS business
  • Identify key opportunities and define deal winning strategy together with county sales and account managers; provide winning offering strategy by well understanding of customer needs/concerns, with active offer follow-up
  • Ensure ITO and OTR procedure during each phase of the deal together with internal stakeholders
  • Simplify and secure the design, costing and manufacturing of HVS products by fixing the technical configuration at earlier stage in between customers and units
  • Interfacing with unit technical tendering, engineering & designing, and sourcing function to provide proper technical solution and costing optimization to meet market needs
  • Determine customers' needs and drive the spec-in/out actions together with county sales and account managers
  • Ensure Homologation and spec-in towards to end user to make sure GEV HVS products qualification and acceptance
  • Buildup market intelligence of market dynamics, competitiveness, technologies move, market environment trends, to give input for market assessment, products gap actions and products R&D activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, mechanical or Industry
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a successful sales growth track record
  • Strong knowledge of High Voltage Switchgear products and it's applications
  • Excellent understanding of high voltage switchgear market and competition
