The Lead Reporting Manager is primarily responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of the reporting landscape across multiple HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level.
This role serves as a key interface between technical teams, project and program leadership, and external stakeholders.
The focus is on proactive analysis, maintaining transparency on project performance, and ensuring a high-quality standard in reporting across the entire portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and continuously improve the reporting framework across several HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level
• Ensure the preparation, consistency, and quality of reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, program leadership, and steering committees

• Analyze complex project data to identify key trends, deviations, and develop data-driven recommendations
• Coordinate cross-project data inputs to deliver accurate, comparable, and timely reporting across all megaprojects
• Work closely with project and program managers to monitor progress, support strategic decisions, and communicate key insights
• Facilitate management and stakeholder meetings with well-structured reporting presentations
• Support risk identification and mitigation efforts through KPI and variance analysis
• Provide guidance and onboarding support to other reporting managers and new team members
• Promote a high-performance, ownership-driven culture in line with the principle: "Run it like you own it"
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or controlling for complex infrastructure programs or multiple major projects
• Proficient in reporting tools such as Excel, and Smartsheet
• Strong initiative, responsibility, and strategic thinking mindset
• Proven experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Experience working in interdisciplinary and international project environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Project Management, Engineering, or Data Science)
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2)
• Familiarity with HVDC systems, offshore infrastructure, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Work Environment:
This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to offshore or onshore project sites.
Flexible work models, including remote work options, are available by arrangement.
