Lead Project Engineer (Electrical assembly)

What impact you'll make
Technical leader of assembly process including sub-assemblies. Develop production processes, reduce lead-time and operation cycle time, drives cost out activities of related products. Assures technical compliance of the assembly processes, cooperates with compliance and Engineering organizations.
Job Description
What you'll do
- Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
- Provides technical inputs to the NPI process, represents Assembly organization and its interests in the development of new products
- Provides technical leadership throughout NPI implementation on the shopfloor
- Cooperates with the Engineering organizations to develop product design that accelerates assembly activities, creates a safer environment for the assembly operators by eliminating safety risks through design improvements.
- Closely cooperates with the Assembly cell leaders, provides technical leadership during problem resolution
- Work on continuous improvement, encourage employees to give kaizen suggestions and actions. Participate in LEAN initiative, driving AWO actions to completion
- Drives implementation of process improvements like digitization in Assembly (model based mfg, e-plan application in Assembly processes)
- Drive EHS related actions to improve safety and safety culture. Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events. Follow EHS rules and ensure others take rules seriously. Immediately report incidents and near misses. Immediately shut down operation when life or serious injury risk present (Stop Work).
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering degree (MSc/BSc)
- Production/ industry experience in related fields (Electrical / Mechanical Assembly)
- Project management experience
- Good English and Hungarian language knowledge
- Knowledge in quality/productivity modern tools (Six Sigma, problem solving),
- High awareness of safety (EHS)
- Team player behavior, open minded and energetic personality
- Able to work with office automation (Excel, AutoCAD)
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment
- Willingness to undergo further professional training and to work independently
