Perform and control procurement processes of critical materials at the right cost, time, and quality. Deploy and maintain material master and inventory replenishment plan(s) that optimize service level, inventory levels, and logistics cost. Participate in regional / Business inventory forecasting and follow-up processes. Effectively optimize Inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end procurement activities for critical materials, ensuring timely supply at the right cost and quality in alignment with business needs and production schedules
  • Establish and maintain robust material master data and dynamic inventory replenishment strategies to support high service levels while effectively controlling inventory carrying costs and minimizing excess or obsolete stock
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, production, engineering, finance, and quality teams to ensure accurate material planning, timely deliveries, and seamless integration across all operational functions
  • Actively participate in regional and business-level inventory forecasting processes by providing data-driven insights and contributing to the development of long-term supply plans
  • Continuously monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities, implement corrective actions, and ensure inventory accuracy across all storage locations
  • Support ongoing cost reduction and process improvement initiatives through supplier collaboration, strategic sourcing, and the implementation of best practices in procurement and inventory management
  • Take ownership of resolving supply disruptions or material quality issues by proactively communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring minimal impact to operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering fields from an accredited university
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the materiel management area
  • Strong oral and written language skills in English
  • Strong inventory management background
  • Comfortable in hybrid working conditions
  • SAP program knowledge is a must
  • Ability to live in Istanbul or Kocaeli
