Job Description Summary
Scheduler is responsible for developing a project schedule for the Richmond shop. This position will be a cross functional role, incorporating inputs from multiple
groups with the customer needs as the primary focus. This role will be held accountable for safety, quality and on time delivery for the projects executed.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of repairs cycle times to ensure that the project constraints are understood, they are mitigated and communicated to all stake holders.
- Providing solutions to constraints that will support the project being executed safely, with focus on quality.
- Coordinate with team to understand needs of the customers and provide a schedule that supports that.
- Effective communication to ensure that site team has the latest information of any schedule changes that needs to be reviewed.
- Create an operating rhythm to review schedule delays and drive ownership to overcome any obstacles that do not support OTD
- Active participant in the daily GENBA walks, highlighting any concerns or constraints driving a problem solving culture.
- Generate improvement ideas and develop lean processes that support safety, quality and OTD.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions, and checks for understanding. On site point of contact for customer visits.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or planning)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and problem solve with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of lean concepts
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Skilled with working in P6 (Primavera)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
- Employment is based upon successful background check and drug screening
- This position is required to work onsite in our Richmond Service Center 100%
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's of Science degree
- Project Manager Experience
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- Current or Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience reading blueprints, procedures and specifications
- Understanding project planning, working with shop schedules
- Detail oriented
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with sales, engineering, supply chain, shop floor and customers
- Customer oriented, both internally and externally
- Computer-literate and competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Experience in rotating power generation equipment and power plants
- Basic knowledge of finances and experience managing budgets
- Ability to work effectively at multiple levels within the organization
- Experience in managing complex technical projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and lead project team
Pay Transparency
The starting base pay range for this position is $81,700.00 - $109,200.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on September 6, 2025, or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
