Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support and Improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost in Turbine Assembly
  • Improve processes and prevent repeat defects
  • Act as a Problem solver and process improvement leader
  • Complete 4D and 8D and act as coach on problem solving process
  • Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing methods
  • Support EHS projects in cell and ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Act as mentor to other Manufacturing Engineers in the area

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or supply chain

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to project manage and complete long term projects
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • High Attention to detail and accurate execution of projects and tasks
  • Experience reading BOM and technical drawings

Pay Transparency

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the starting base pay range for this position is $81,700.00 - 109,200.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on or after September 17, 2025.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
