Job Description
Our Lead Hardware & Cabling Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful design and integration of hardware and cabling systems. They provide technical leadership and expertise, ensuring that our solutions meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the hardware design for all CM&U (Controls, Modifications & Upgrades) projects, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Lead Engineering team to integrate hardware solutions effectively into service projects.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to engineering teams and third-party contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute hardware and cabling projects, including testing and commissioning.
- Work closely with our Engineering Design Center (EDC) office to coordinate design efforts and review other engineers' drawings and work packages.
- Monitor, control, and manage engineering project budgets, documentation, risk management processes, design reviews, and quality control systems in accordance with company guidelines.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in hardware and cabling design and integration.
Qualifications and Experience:
A mix of the following skills is preferred, and we understand not everyone will meet all of these requirements:
- Experience in an engineering leadership environment, particularly in hardware and cabling roles.
- Proven expertise in hardware design and cabling system integration.
- Experience in specifying components such as connectors, cables, and related hardware.
- Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage engineering operations efficiently.
- Ability to multitask on various projects within strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Customer-centric mindset, with experience in translating customer requirements into effective engineering solutions.
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar degree with suitable industry experience.
