Job Description
The Performance Solutions team is seeking a motivated student for our Gas Turbine Performance Internship within the Performance Center of Excellence (COE) located in Baden, Switzerland.
As an intern, you will be responsible for converting gas turbine models from our old tool, ALPEG, to a new modelling tool, GTP. You will work closely with our global team to ensure accurate and efficient model conversion. You will need to prepare the review with the expert and release the converted model. You will then use field data to improve the model matching.
Candidates should be current students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a strong understanding of thermodynamic cycle modelling, experience with Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle and Steam Turbine thermodynamics is even better. Fluent in English, both written and oral, is required, and experience with programming is advantageous.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in detailed thermodynamic modelling of gas turbines and to learn about their construction and operation. You will receive guidance from an assigned mentor and support from the global team.
Responsibilities:
- Convert gas turbine models from an old tool, ALPEG, to a new modelling tool, GTP.

- Prepare the expert review and release the newly created model.
- Improve GT model with field data.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Bachelor's or Master's degree students (or equivalent knowledge or experience).

- Experience of Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle and Steam Turbine Thermodynamics
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
