Inside Sales Development Representative - Manufacturing Software

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team and connect our customers with our technologies to help solve this century's biggest challenge - decarbonizing the planet.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play an important role within the business development organization, qualifying inbound leads, profiling and prospecting for new customers, and executing account-based marketing and sales activities. Working in collaboration with sales account managers you will be responsible for contributing to building their pipeline with new logos and expanding existing customers software portfolio footprint.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learn and a deliver a point of view on how GE Digital can help prospective customers
  • Navigate complex organizations to find the right prospects and deliver compelling value proposition to solve their pain points
  • Leverage sales tools to effectively manage inbound leads by emails, dials, and social selling techniques to generate new sales pipeline
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing to set meetings with net new customers
  • Achieve monthly qualification goals
  • Never stop learning about our products, the roadmap, and how GE Digital delivers value
  • Understand, internalize and be able articulate the value GE Digital brings to the market in all of your communications
  • Overcome common sales objections to develop compelling conversations
  • Conduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets and grow knowledge about new ones

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in B2B software sales)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest or expertise in consultative and solution prospecting/selling
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - not afraid to pick up the phone to introduce yourself to potential customers
  • Excellent organizational skills, technologically proficient (MS office, Salesforce, Outreach)
  • Outcome driven team player
  • An ability to thrive in a competitive team environment
  • Proficiency in English
