Services, field services and equipment to support the GSI NAM Services business as well as indirect material and services to support GSI NAM.
The Strategic Sourcing Leader will manage the sourcing strategy and execution of a given number of projects in ITO and OTR. You will be responsible to negotiate and partner with the Services buyer to issue service and equipment purchase orders at the right time and right quality within the specified targets/budget. The Strategic Sourcing Leader is responsible for the RFQ/RFP process, supplier negotiations of price and terms, completion of supplier qualification process, identification and the development of supplier panel.. You are responsible to settle claims with conditions favorable for GSI. This role will support bid/proposal development in ITO as well by providing pricing and lead time as required.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, quote and negotiate costs for material and equipment in support of commercial bids
- Work closely with engineering and commercial teams to understand timelines and requirements for supplier identification in tender stage and selection in execution stage
- Partner with engineering and supplier development team in order to identify, assess, and qualify new suppliers
- Source and develop certified minority, veteran-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers to achieve customer requirements
- Drive KPIs: Deflation, DTP, Quality, Compliance, OTD
- Implement procedures for continuous improvement, accountability, and efficiency in supplier engagement and execution
- Negotiate master supply agreements as well as project-specific agreements for equipment and material
- Ensure compliance with GE sourcing policies and procedures
- Manage strong supplier relationships including commercial issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost/lead time reduction
- Collaborates with Supplier Quality for product/process qualification
- Leads supplier performance reviews
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or similar field. Previous experience in Services is desired.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestic 20% of the time. Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule that includes overtime as required.

The salary range for this position is 94,600.00 - 126,100.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. 94,600.00 - 126,100.00 - 157,700.00 USD Annual
