Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for People Leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. This role will execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This role is critical in executing our key HR Initiatives, utilizing local expertise to empower People Leaders and engage employees, fostering a consistent, positive experience.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with People Leaders to cultivate a culture of diversity, inclusion and promote a proactive safety-first mindset across the organization;
- Deliver on the workforce and talent agenda for the region/locally, having end-to-end ownership of the employee experience;
- Foster a positive culture by embedding GEV's philosophy, promoting diversity, inclusion and safety in all HR initiatives;
- Advise leadership across HR-related topics and activities across GE Vernova Taiwan;
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Center of Expertise to execute business-specific HR strategies.
- Ensure that all employee relations and union management issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.
- Ensure compliance and enforcement of local regulations/laws/policies, while providing people leaders with the appropriate level of legal support needed for effective decision-making;
- Act as a dedicated advocate for employees, address concerns and ensuring their voices are represented in policies and initiatives to enhance overall workplace satisfaction, engagement and overall experience
- Support project management and change activation for various HR initiatives that require local knowledge/presence (e.g., restructuring support) as appropriate
- Collaborate with relevant HR Leaders in the region and Global to manage employee relations related matters.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a HR related area
- Minimum 6 years prior professional work experience in a Human Resource related area.
- Sound knowledge of Taiwan Labor Laws and government requirements including mobility requirements of inbound and outbound employees.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
