Job Description Summary

The Grid Solutions & Electrification Systems Competency & Learning specialist has two hats: On the one hand, she/he takes the lead on coordinating the global competency management cycle and measure its efficiency. On the other hand, she/he designs transversal Grid Solutions or Electrification Systems Learning content in close cooperation with functional subject experts and coordinates the training journey, on time and within budget, to ensure a successful ramp-up of resources and competencies.

  • Acts as SME for the competency champions for the competency management cycle, through a consistent working methodology/approach and ensure templates are leveraged.
  • Coordinates the project through project reviews with relevant teams
  • Coordinates a consistent assessment & development campaigns across functions
  • Designs and implements the process to monitor global KPIs
  • Makes sure stakeholders' expectations are met
  • Actively participates in the preparation of yearly ISO 9001 audit, in coordination with local HR of audited sites
  • Leads the implementation of a new tool to assess competencies
  • Participates in integration of the competency cycles into the wider Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), talent and learning activities

Learning design specialist

  • Partner with stakeholders across GE Vernova, Electrification Systems and the different business lines to define learning needs based on competency assessments and other learning requirements (such as GE Vernova University platform)
  • Develop and implement transversal training content (curriculum) together with subject matter experts (design training leaders) as well as with educational designers (external companies) specific to Electrification Systems
  • Owns full lifecycle of each learning offering from design, development, delivery/deployment and success measurement.
  • Establishes governance of all on-demand learning experiences through regular reviews, promotion, updates.
  • Propose a set of standard Learning KPI for all Electrification Systems & monitor them.
  • Partners with 3rd party vendors to enhance the learning offering & define a panel of external vendors.
  • Engagement of top leaders in the Learning culture and implementation of concrete actions
