Job Description Summary

GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) to design and implement equipment control hardware, software and programs for Industry Automation system projects under the mentorship of technical expert in this field. The individual will work on a function depending on their prior coursework and degree.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work with System Engineer in assigned project in the field of industrial automation and control systems.
• Work with System engineering team for ongoing projects primarily in Industry domain.
• Preparation of technical documents including Control architecture, I/O schedule and BOM.
• Know-how of the various industry processes like metals, mining, test benches etc.,
• PLC programming and hardware design, to develop Automation Software / hardware system
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and it's advanced features.
• Work closely with mentors to provide technical clarification in current project, equipment under test or in-service platforms
• Provide documentation support in the assigned project
• Ensure strict compliance with all company and customer's EHS policies and procedures.
• Identify and propose improvements in processes, tools, system solutions and technologies, rolling out improvements when agreed with leadership team.
• Provide technical support and assistance to overall project team as appropriate including commissioning and service
• Be self-motivated, creative and a team player, with ability to come up with unique solutions to complex problems.

• Masters /bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering.

• Strong prioritizing and time management skills
• Willingness to learn with passion
• Automation controls or equivalent experience through Internship or University class work
• Strong background in electronics & instrumentation, digital circuits & signal processing, micro controllers, control systems etc.
• Strong basics in electrical machines, circuit & network analysis, electrical measurements and control
• Good in soft skills
• Good knowledge in latest networking and computer systems
• Capable of working with multi-disciplined international team with good personal organization skills
• Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales
• Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills
• Quickly identify best practices and apply them within the team
• Proficiency in French/ German language will be an added advantage
