Position Overview:
The Global University Recruiting Leader plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing GEV's university recruitment strategy across the globe. This role is responsible for ensuring a continuous pipeline of high-performing, diverse early talent, while maintaining GEV's strong brand presence at top universities. In addition, the position will try and influence early talent workforce planning by providing data-driven insights that empower HR and business leaders to make informed decisions regarding future talent investments. This leadership role combines thought leadership, strategic planning, and execution to position GEV as an employer of choice for top university talent.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global university recruiting strategy built on regional delivery approaches to attract diverse and high caliber talent for internships, co-ops, entry-level roles, and Leadership Development Programs.
- Align university recruiting initiatives with broader talent acquisition and organizational goals.
- Innovate and pilot new approaches to sourcing, recruiting, and engaging university talent.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed team of recruiters and coordinators.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the recruiting team.
- Provide professional development opportunities and performance feedback to team members.
- Develop and manage processes to build and sustain strong relationships with universities, faculty, student organizations, and career centers.
- Define & implement standardized best practices to establish GEV as a preferred employer at targeted institutions through events, sponsorships, and alumni networks.
- Oversee the creation and execution of employer branding campaigns tailored for university audiences.
- Ensure an inclusive, engaging, and seamless experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Represent the company at recruiting events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in university recruitment efforts. Implement strategies to attract underrepresented groups and ensure an equitable hiring process.
- Have a significant role in shaping and executing GEV's U.S. diversity conference strategy, driving increased diversity hires from key events.
- Continuously seek and implement best practices, networking with other world-class organizations to keep GEV's university recruiting strategy fresh and competitive.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of university recruiting initiatives. Utilize data analytics to assess program impact, drive improvements, and inform strategic decisions.
- Provide actionable insights through workforce data analysis, supporting decisions on talent investment, hiring priorities, and future workforce needs.
- Work closely with HR, Talent Management, Segment Talent Leaders, and other key stakeholders to align early talent strategies with corporate initiatives and ensure a smooth execution of plans.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to determine and define Strategic University Partnerships and our strategy / purpose for engaging those schools.
- Create a defendable strategic school selection approach that informs which and how many colleges and universities to target in order to attract the best talent aligned with the organization's needs. Key criteria may include: alignment with business needs, academic excellence, diversity representation, geographic consideration, Alumni success, campus engagement opportunities, recruitment ROI, etc.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement university recruiting strategies globally, providing thought leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Strong skills in building relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and university partners. Ability to influence decision-making and secure executive involvement in campus events and initiatives.
- Expertise in managing multiple high-priority projects and processes simultaneously, ensuring alignment with GEV's global business objectives.
- Ability to create compelling and competitive strategic recruiting plans that effectively showcase GEV's employer brand to top university talent.
- Proficient in analyzing data to measure success, identify trends, and develop strategies that address talent needs. Strong skills in creating actionable insights from workforce data.
- Commitment to advancing GEV's diversity recruitment strategy through proactive initiatives and partnerships with organizations that promote diversity
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and regions.
- 10+ years of experience in university recruiting or talent acquisition, with a proven track record of building and managing global recruitment strategies - with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Prior experience leading teams, managing budgets, and overseeing the execution of high-impact global projects.
- Demonstrated success in driving early talent recruitment strategies, optimizing workforce planning, and leading diversity recruitment initiatives.
- Experience with recruitment systems and tools, and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with global labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent acquisition.
- Ability to travel globally as needed

The salary range for this position is $141,900 to $200,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits. This posting is expected to expire on June 5, 2025.
