Job Description Summary
The Generator Component COE (Center of Excellence) Leader will be responsible to lead, direct and plan manufacturing operations, including providing leadership to a salaried manufacturing leadership team to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC), while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people, and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of multiple manufacturing cell leaders and their teams, including production supervisors who oversee hourly employees
- Develop, coach and motivate the team to achieve optimum day-to-day operations, including well-functioning, disciplined daily management and problem solving
- Collaborate with manufacturing leader peers and the broader manufacturing team to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve SQDC KPIs and outcomes
- Drive strong collaboration with engineering and other cross functional support teams
- Execute Lean Roadmap deliverables and set strategic goals within the CoE
- Drive full implementation of Life Saving Rules and Built-in-Quality into daily operations

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations leadership OR High School/GED plus 10 years manufacturing operations leadership.
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university

- Demonstrated record of success in leading manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of Generator products
- Demonstrated ability in leading and fostering positive employee and labor/union relations
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively influence, motivate and coach others
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $144,000-$185,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
