Job Description Summary
Plant electric power distribution systems (EPDS) design including nuclear (NI) and turbine island (TI), balance of plant (BOP), and interface to switchyard and grid. Scope includes safety-related (S-R) or Safety Class 1 (SC1), augmented quality or SC2 and SC3, and nonsafety-related (NSR) systems for; advanced light water reactor (ALWR) [focus on BWRX-300] and advanced liquid metal reactor (ALMR) [Natrium] for commercial nuclear power plants and test facilities.
Job Description
- In this role, you will:
- Design and analyze AC and DC electrical systems using tools like ETAP for simulations.
- Create and maintain technical documents, including electrical diagrams (single-line, three-line, etc.) using AutoCAD or Visio.
- Manage project phases from initial design (FEED) to final implementation.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
- Manage requirements and configurations using tools like DOORS-NextGen.
- Manage documents and bill of materials using tools like ENOVIA

Required Skills:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience with heavy electrical equipment and systems.
- Very good proficiency in electrical system simulation (e.g., ETAP).
- Strong experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Experience with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong English and Polish language skills.
Desired Skills:
- Strong experience with requirements management software.
- Strong experience with data collaboration software like Confluence.
- Strong experience with other simulation tools like Simulink-MATLAB.
- Project management certification (PMP).
- Good knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (LEAN, DMAIC).
