Fleet Data and Payment Specialist

Through ownership of the Fleet data, PO and payment processes and by coordinating fleet projects ensure professional & proactive services to GE Vernova businesses through building effective relationships with the HR Total Rewards, Fleet Sourcing and Finance communities.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain global fleet inventory by consolidating country and vendor inputs and run sanity checks, improve data quality and find ways of automation of car inventory management
  • Build global CO2 report on quarterly basis and improve vendor data quality
  • Manage fleet acquisition and disposition projects
  • Own PO creation and payment process coordination with Genpact and Tungsten and Business teams for all Vernova car fleets
  • Support Businesses in implementation of the standardized PO process
  • Cooperate with Buydesk and finance teams on PO budget calculations and support them to identify right costing data
  • Coordinate monthly overdue calls with vendor, to support smooth payment of fleet vendors
  • Identify and handle PO and payment issues, find root cause and coordinate resolutions with vendor and GE teams
  • First point of contact regarding cost allocation topics, provide missing data to the Lease CoE team, maintain e-billing files
  • Guide and support Fleet Ops Specialists on payment and PO related topics
  • Support financial audits, coordinate between auditors, local business and vendor
  • Collect vehicle cost data for IFRS reports on monthly basis from vendors for GE Vernova Lease CoE team
  • Maintain fleet metrics data to report out FLT Ops team performance
  • Provide data reports and analysis to Global Fleet Manager for various fleet ops projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Experience and deep understanding of PO and B2P processes in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, B2P, data analyst experience or Finance background at GE companies or GE outsource partners (e.g. Genpact/Softtek, Accenture) is a plus
  • Fluency in English with polite, professional communication skills, French, German or Spanish knowledge is a plus

  • Strong Excel, Power Point is a must, GE ERP system knowledge is a plus (SSS, Cora, SAP)
  • Supportive and enthusiastic team player
