Job Description
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall goal of reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
- Drive the development and implementation of the plant's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure points and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Analyze data from equipment monitoring systems (e.g., vibration, temperature) to predict failures.
- Prepare reports on reliability metrics, including Operational Availability (OA), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Optimize the use of physical assets, extending their life and improving return on investment.
- Provide training to maintenance and operations staff on reliability practices and equipment care.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to improve reliability and resolve issues.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving equipment reliability, such as upgrades or new equipment installations.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving facility safety
- Participate in Team activities for Human Resources, Problem Solving, 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and continuous improvements projects.

- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Degree requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent discipline from accredited institution or 2-yr degree in Mechatronics or equivalent discipline with 5 additional years of experience
- 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance
Eligibility:
- This role is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC test lab facility
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability and willingness to work overtime or weekend shifts as business needs may require.
Desired:
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe manner
- Experience with system LOTO, Lift Plans, Line Breaks, Management of Change, Hot Work Permits, Confined Space, SDS, Hazardous Area Classifications, and Process Safety Management
- Proficiency in CMMS work order tracking systems such as L2L or Maximo
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with pipe fitting / piping components
- Familiarity with NFPA70E
- PLC experience
- Preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Multi-craft maintenance experience (rotating equipment (pumps, compressors), valves, CNC, boilers, air heaters, pumps, compressors)
- Machining and part inspection experience
- Electrical experience with ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs
- Instrumentation and control troubleshooting experience
- Hand and power tool experience
Pay Transparency:
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $79,400.00 - 119,000.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 5% annual performance incentive.
