The Shop Operations Leader is responsible for the high quality, efficient, and compliant execution of all shop operation activities at the Jacintoport Plant located in Channelview , TX. This leadership opportunity leads a team of ~270 employees (hourly and salaried) and accountable for achieving the People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash and Cost targets through the disciplined and rigorous deployment of the Lean Operating Model.

Essential Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5-7 salaried reports - consisting of Product Engineering Support, Materials Management, Quality Engineers, Operations Management, Cost Management, & Facilities
- Manage an full scale overhaul facility in order to reach defined targets in Safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Prioritize a positive culture, employee engagement and a unified collaboration to drive "One Team, One Alliance"
- Deploy continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards, leveraging the lean tools and lean management systems
- Partner with business stakeholders on make/buy decisions and how to best support fulfillment of customer demand
- Own capital allocation strategy for the site and give input to business programs encompassing part of a the supporting function
- Ability to develop a clear long term site business strategy
- Develop and coach site leadership team to inspire, drive accountability and empower their teams
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Operation Management (Including prior Management / Supervisory experience in an operation / production environment; Experience applying Lean principles to drive improves cycles time, throughput and reduction)

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

- Experience in long term strategy and planning

Key accountabilities/responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Accountable for attaining Operational Excellence across Jport and aligning AAJV strategy to our Channel Partners focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Responsible for creating a strong culture throughout the sites, driving values and developing leaders on continuous improvement, safe working and open dialogue within the sites.
- Having a safety-first mindset to ensure EHS policies & standards are applied and the performance culture drives world class initiatives.
- Leading & developing the Site Leadership Team on People First, Safety, Quality, Delivery Cash & Cost targets
- You will have a great track record of leadership and direction, building and upholding effective teams and communications. Able to coach and mentor highly-skilled and experienced direct reports

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits. This posting is expected to expire on May 17, 2025.
