We are looking for Team lead to join our FACTS SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity team. The position will be based in Tampere, Finland with homeworking flexibility.

You will be working on cutting edge technology and varied international high profile projects.

In this position, you will be reporting to FACTS Power Electronics Engineering Leader, as well indirectly to Project Managers & Project Engineering Managers during project execution phase. A top priority position to lead a critical engineering team in FACTS business.

Job Description

In this position, you will have a possibility to become an expert in people and engineering management of grid integration of high power reactive power compensators.

Your main task is people and team leadership, and together with your team you will be accountable for successful SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity delivery according to highly demanding customer specifications. You get to see the engineering work put into action, first in project specification and design, then testing in laboratory and finally in the commissioning of the compensator at the actual site. Team will also take part in new Tender evaluations and supporting R&D and Continuous Improvement topics.

Key Individual Accountabilities

• People Leader for a global team

• Resource planning to ensure project delivery on time and within budget

• Develop team and coach team members to reach the targets

• Advocate and mentor for first time right culture

• Seek and deploy Continuous Improvement and Process improvement opportunities

• Participate to technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholders

• Plan, organize and follow SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity project delivery activities

• Support technical Tendering and R&D in the field of FACTS SCADA/HMI/CyberSecurity design

Qualifications/Requirements:

• People leadership skills

• Good negotiation skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders

• BSc/MSc degree in Information Technology/ Electrical Engineering

• Strategic view to anticipate and implement coming needs

• Knowledge of design, configuring and development of HMI & SCADA applications

• Knowledge in cyber security and related standards (eg. NERC CIP, IEC 62351, IEEE PES Substation C10 /PSRC H13, IEEE 1686, NIST Smart Grid)

• Understanding on patch management, hardening, remote access, malware protection, authentication management and information protection

• Knowledge in substation communication protocols (eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104)

• Knowledge in Ethernet network configurations

• Fluent written and oral skills in English - Finnish language skill is a benefit

• Strong prioritizing and time management skills
