The Engineer - Nuclear Fuel position offers opportunities to learn the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis by applying state-of-the-art nuclear and thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and address real day-to-day plant issues. Additionally, this position has direct utility customer-facing opportunities through deliverables, collaboration, and training.
The Engineer - Nuclear Fuel will be part of the team responsible for BWR Nuclear Fuel reload licensing and cycle management in Global Nuclear Fuels (GNF). In this role you will provide innovative licensing and design solutions that ensure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Quickly learn and apply analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to solve problems
- Execute analysis and design calculations to support operating reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle management
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
- Document and communicate results of technical data generated
- Implement continual improvement of work processes
- Share information and promote open dialogue, including working effectively in a matrixed team environment
- Partner with Commercial Account Managers (CAMs), interface with customer technical personnel, and manage reload projects across the fuel's organization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, physics, or other science field from an accredited college or university

- This job will be located at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. (Relocation assistance provided)

The base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Monday, July 28th.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
