EHS Specialist (Sustainability & Environmental)

Job Description Summary

To ensure environmental compliance via recordkeeping, reporting with program implementation and management. Additionally, develop and drive sustainability objectives via energy reduction, waste minimization and other GHG / CF reduction strategies.

Essential Responsibilities
As the Environmental and Sustainability Lead you will:

• Be responsible for supporting air, waste and water compliance for our Clearwater and other PT manufacturing sites
• Support reporting and licensing/permitting efforts to ensure regulatory compliance including RCRA, EPCRA, air and stormwater
• Preparation and submittal of documentation and reports required including RCRA Permit, EPCRA (Tier II and TRI), and other EPA regulations
• Manage all aspects of the ISO 14001 program
• Track site progress against EHS metrics and goals and participate/lead compliance audits
• Lead and implement GEV's ESG and Sustainability strategy for assigned locations
• Responsible for deployment and execution, of other EHS programs and projects for our Clearwater site including; safety plans, conducting training, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards related to environmental, health and safety

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Health & Safety, or related discipline from an accredited university
• Minimum of 3 years environmental experience including environmental compliance, industrial data collection and report preparation

Desired Characteristics

• Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance experience
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or lead auditor
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally and work independently
