Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare fiberglass pieces by cutting from a roll to pattern or length, rolling it, and marking it with the appropriate layer code
• Order all glass as needed on the I-pad
• Cut glass on cutting machine to required length for glass kits and rework glass
• Track glass kits traceability on paperwork and in the I-pad
• Fill empty glass kit carts
• Slit glass as needed
• Ensure all materials used is according to the work instructions and approved from the quality department
• Notify supervisor immediately of any near miss or injury, no matter how slight.
• Seek guidance from fellow coworkers or supervisor regarding various issues.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working alone or with a team.
• Attend crew/department meetings as required.
• Attend plant meetings as required.
• Maintain 5's standards
• Wear appropriate PPE

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects

Desired Characteristics

• High School Diploma/GED or related job experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous composite materials experience.
