The engineer will oversee the coordination of all engineering activities and being the interface between engineering and other product lines, functions, .... The scope covers Projecs in execution (OTR) and/or in tender phase (ITO)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduire et gérer les process ingénierie en lien avec la planification globale du projet, en implémentant les revues de projet (gate reviews) anisi que les revues de conception.
  • Suivre la livraison à temps de la documentation ingénierie
  • Suivre le budget ingénierie
  • Gerer les demandes de modification de conception (design change)
  • Définir les requis spécifiques au projet à utiliser en données d'entrées de la conception
  • Assurer la conformité de la documentation par rapport au contrat
  • Coordonner les interfaces entre les différents centres d'exécution (France, Chine, Inde, Suisse)
  • Coordoner et suivre les non conformités (NCR), les demandes de clarification, durant les phases de fabrication , de montage et de mise en service. Gérer les problématiques critiques spécifiques avec le support des experts et proposer des solutions
  • Assurer la conformité par rapport aux règles et reglementations applicables, y compris la conformités par rapport aux requis Sureté Nucléaire
  • Assurer la conformités par rapport aux règles EHS. Contribuer aux améliorations EHS sur l'ensemble du cycle de vie du produit.
  • Interagir avec des ingénieurs au niveau global en interne comme en externe ainsi qu'avec les équipes en charge de la fabrication
  • Cordonner les techniciens et les ingénieurs conception.


  • Monitoring and leading the engineering process within the overall project schedule by clear control of the Gate Reviews, and scheduling of Design Reviews
  • Monitoring the on-time-delivery of engineering documentation
  • Monitoring the engineering budgeted hours
  • Managing Design Change requests
  • Establishing of the project specific requirement used as an input for the design
  • Ensuring the compliance of documentations toward the contract
  • Coordinating the interfaces among the different execution center (France, China, India, Switzerland)
  • Coordinating NCR, CCR (Clarification and Concession Requests), MSR (Material Substitution Request) within Engineering during manufacturing, erection and commissioning, manage specific issues with Expert and propose solutions
  • Ensuring compliance to applicable rules & regulations , including Nuclear Safety requirements
  • Ensuring compliance to EHS rules. Contributing to EHS improvement on the whole product life cycle
  • Interact with engineers at worldwide level
  • Coordinate engineers and technicians

Desired Characteristics

  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering activities for Nuclear Power Plant equipment
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Knowledge of nuclear exchangers would be a plus
    Feedwater tank)
  • Knowledge of Stress Mechanics, Mechanical Codes (EN, ASME and Russian Equivalent)
  • Knowledge of thermal design
  • Knowledge of material standard - (EN, GB, PSME, GOST)
  • Experience in manufacturing techniques and in managing of several international suppliers of heat exchangers and pressure vessels
  • Experience in erection sequences of heat exchangers and pressure vessels
  • Experience in technical data management and CAD systems
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Skill in MTA system
  • Knowledge in drawings & diagrams as P&ID reading and checking,
  • Knowledge in drawing reading and checking.
