Job Description Summary
The Wind Turbine Blade Service Technician will perform specialized field and workshop-based tasks related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of wind turbine blades. This role requires expertise in composite materials, specifically polyester and epoxy laminates, and involves hands-on service, technical direction, and leadership in blade repair and maintenance operations
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, repairs, and maintenance on wind turbine blades using composite materials, including polyester and epoxy laminates.
- Perform sanding, laminating, and other composite repair techniques to ensure the integrity and performance of turbine blades.
- Prepare job planning documents, including engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions specific to blade maintenance and repair.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure alignment with customers' Critical to Quality (CTQ) needs during job planning and execution.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to skilled labor teams performing blade repair work on customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blade integrity and performance.
- Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, and preparing job status and expense reports.
- Exercise sound judgment in controlling costs and expenditures of company resources.
- Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure all work complies with EHS safety standards.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with laminate repairs, preferably focused on wind turbine blades.
- Professional Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in a relevant field.
- Rope Access Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel abroad for more than 90% of the working time.

- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic Workplace First Aid certification.
