Balance of Plant and Installation Product Manager
Job Description Summary
The Balance of Plant and Installation Product Manager will own the overall strategy and processes for Installation and Balance of Plant optimization for the 3MW and below Onshore Wind Platforms. He or she will identify key levers to drive the product optimization for installation and balance of plant, establish targets for all products, and coordinate with the cross-functional team to achieve the targets. He or she will lead business critical trade-off assessments that improve the competitiveness of GE Vernova Onshore Wind products. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable has meaningful onsite experience in the installation of wind turbines or wind turbine auxiliary equipment.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation related to installation and balance of plant optimization
- Develop business cases to prioritize product, tool, and capability developments
- Own and maintain the tooling & fixture databases to aide in appropriate project management of tooling development and deployment to regions on-time and within expected costs
- Drive engagement with regional teams to incorporate local requirements for successful product launches
- Ensure installation readiness for new product launches for all relevant regions
- Own the installation and balance of plant should cost models
- Create and execute an action plan to achieve product targets; highlight gaps and develop/execute opportunities to close
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wind industry

- Ability to distill large amounts of information and effectively communicate key messages
- Self - starter, highly motivated, innovative, and creative thinker

FOR US ONLY: The base pay range for this position is $134,000.00 - $223,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
