As an investment professional, you will primarily execute, manage, and create value in equity, tax equity, debt, and/or structured financings. You may also have opportunities to advance strategic initiatives and project development spanning the GE Vernova portfolio of energy transition technologies, such as wind, gas power, electrification, small modular nuclear, direct air capture, and more.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Execute due diligence and underwriting of complex renewable energy development or project finance investments, including oversight of development partners and review of legal documentation and consultant reports such as environmental studies, market studies and independent engineer reports.
- Lead financial and valuation analysis on projects and companies, including preparation of detailed financial models and sensitivity analyses on market, technical, financing, taxation, and other drivers.
- Present and defend analyses and approval requests to senior leadership with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate project risks.
- Protect and realize the value of portfolio investments through engaging project counterparties, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating project modifications/restructurings, and executing asset sales.
- Train and mentor junior investment professionals in a matrixed organization
- Support GE Vernova strategic initiatives, special projects, and new business development opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of progressive deal experience in power project finance and/or power, solar or wind project development (or MBA and at least two years of such energy experience post-MBA).
- Financial modeling, valuation, and investment due diligence experience.
- Minimal (up to 10%) travel may be required, as needed, to support business and customers within the region.

- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must comply with pre-employment screening, including drug testing, reference verification, and background check.
- Note that there is a uniformly required employee non-solicit agreement for this position.
Desired Characteristics
- Quantitative, engineering, or finance academic background.
- MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
- Familiarity with the principles of tax equity investments.
- Ability to analyze in detail key project contracts, legal documents, and due diligence reports such as market studies and independent engineer reports.
- Skilled writer and communicator who can exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way.
- Small group leadership experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with motivation to work through ambiguity and collaborate to problem solve across GE Vernova businesses.
The base pay range for this position is $135,000 to $155,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a variable compensation incentive of 50%. This posting is expected to remain open until at least July 31st.
