Job Description Summary
The Aero Alliance Repair Engineer will be responsible for repair commodities for AAJV shops. Repair engineer will own knowledge of one or more repair commodities / special processes. Repair engineer will support process engineers in implement such repairs as part of a repair activity.
Repair engineer will be responsible of execution of repair processes when qualified.
Job Description
- Be responsible of introduction of repair commodities /special processes in AAJV shop
- Support roll-out and industrialization of new repair technologies/equipment at site with support of process engineering, project manager and shop operation team
- Cooperate with process engineer for a successful execution of a component repair by supporting the use of all the relevant repair technologies
- Cooperate with shop operations and process Eng departments to define CTQs and deviations for LM component repair processes.
- Use commodity expertise, from design to execution, to support shop NCR process
- Development Work Instruction, Standard Repair Routers YoY and also the document maintenance/modification, working in cooperation of the broader engineering team
- Identify opportunities for repair productivity enhancements, cost reduction and new processes development
- As part of AAJV Service Shop Technical team, he/she will be the technical owner of the component repair in production; this will include technical evaluation of Inspection results, definition of the repair scope of work and Departure Record emission
- Support P&E and special tools purchasing pec redaction based on AEO manual/repair document requirement

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- English Proficiency
- University Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
- Willing to relocate close to the Avenza Site (if not already living there)
