The Role
We are looking for a Student Worker to play a key role in supporting the Trial Analytics & Visualization Team within Development Operations. You will assist the Head of Department (HoD), Team Leads, and other stakeholders with a wide range of administrative, quality, and development tasks related to ongoing clinical trials and departmental activities. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and data-driven environment, contributing to meaningful advancements in clinical development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Trial Insights - Administration and Development
- Assist in the release and maintenance of a portfolio of data visualization dashboards.
- Support quality documentation efforts, including QMS and TMF documents in GenDocs.
- Assist in preparing periodic reviews and documenting training activities.
- Maintain and update training and access matrices.
- Provide logistical support for trial-specific application setups (e.g., meeting coordination, drafting minutes).
- Help track trial budgets and support invoicing processes.
- Contribute to the development and testing of Trial Insights applications.
2. Trial Insights - Quality Control
- Perform quality control tasks to ensure accurate and consistent data dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve dataflow issues in collaboration with the IT Service Desk.
- Conduct spot checks to verify consistency of operational data sources across dashboards.
- Assist in the creation of administrative tools for dataflow monitoring and data validation.
3. General Support - GenOps Activities
- Provide backup support to GenOps team members on trial-related operational tasks.
- Coordinate meetings, support Clinical Trial Managers and Study Operations Leads with administrative needs.
- Upload trial documents to eDoc and GenDocs.
4. Contract Management
- Support Clinical Trial Administrators with contract cover sheet preparation.
- Assist with the contract signature process and ensure timely archiving with Legal.
- Maintain and update contract tracking and status overviews.
5. Departmental Support
- Assist with audit and inspection preparation, including organizing and printing materials.
- Arrange travel logistics and prepare associated expense reports as needed.
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset
- Experience with document management and structured workflows
- Solid written communication skills in English
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, R, or similar) are a plus
- Proactive and collaborative attitude
