The Role

Genmab is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Student Worker to support the FP&A Europe department on the day-to-day activities! This is an exciting opportunity for a student pursuing studies in finance, accounting, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international biotech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accruals arrangement processes for the European Expansion team.
  • Support OTC (Order-to-Cash) analysis, journal entry preparation, and mapping transactions to 3PL different sales reports.
  • Perform cash reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy across records and reports from 3PL and cash entries.
  • Liaise with external accounting consultants to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide relevant data from 3PL reports to the Accounting Operations VAT team, on monthly VAT returns for the European Market sales.
  • Collect, consolidate, and reconcile 3PL several reports with Genmab's internal financial records.
  • Develop and maintain standardized data collection formats for financial planning processes, including Forecast 1 (F1), Forecast 2 (F2), Forecast 3 (F3), Long-Range Planning (LRP), and Budgets.
  • Assist in the drafting and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal financial policies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems is a plus.
  • Strong English communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
