The Role
The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Training & Development, will work closely with Medical Affairs Capabilities colleagues and the Medical Affairs Strategy Team to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Medical Affairs training curricula with a large focus on gyn-onc. This role contributes to training initiatives across both field-based and office-based colleagues, ensuring alignment with scientific priorities and organizational goals.

The individual in this role will apply their understanding of Medical Affairs training needs to execute high-quality onboarding, continuing education, and capability-building programs, while supporting a consistent and engaging learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and training of new Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and Field Medical Affairs (FMA) team members, including coordination of onboarding schedules and delivery of introductory training sessions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs Strategy, FMA leadership, and other stakeholders to support training initiatives, including launch readiness and ongoing educational programs
- Assist in the development, update, and maintenance of training materials, including slide decks and learning resources aligned to approved scientific content
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling of training sessions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder availability
- Support the delivery of continuing education programs (e.g., disease state, treatment landscape, and scientific data training)
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure training materials meet compliance and scientific standards
- Contribute to the execution of training plans by tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and supporting reporting of training activities and outcomes
- Help define and implement standard processes, work instructions, and tools to enhance training operations and consistency
- Participate in Medical Affairs planning activities and team meetings, contributing to cross-functional collaboration
- Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on training processes, tools, and expectations
- Support adoption of systems and tools (e.g., GenSights or other platforms) to enhance training delivery, learning retention, and insight generation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline required
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) in medical/biosciences preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry settings
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Excellence, training and development, field capabilities, learning and development, or related functions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey scientific and training content
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and execute projects in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to travel as needed to conferences and internal meetings, up to 10-20% of the time
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$140,080.00 - $210,120.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
