The Role

Genmab is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Enablement to lead innovation, optimization, and operations of digital solutions in our Development area.

Our global team in the US and Denmark develops and supports solutions that improves processes across Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Systems. As part of the Digital Development organization, we collaborate closely with business stakeholders in the Development area to understand needs, solve challenges, and deliver smarter, more effective digital solutions.

In this role, you will act as a functional lead and digital partner. You will gather and prioritize requirements, shape digital roadmaps, and oversee the rollout, operation and maintenance of new and optimized digital solutions. You will work closely with our Data, Digital & AI (DD&AI) team and other partners to ensure effective validation, deployment, and strong business value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scoping, requirements gathering, and business case for digital initiatives in Development
  • Drive and maintain the digital roadmap within the domain, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business priorities
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure digital solutions run efficiently, remain compliant, and that issues are resolved promptly
  • Support daily operation and maintenance of digital solutions within the domain, ensuring oversight of issues and system efficiencies
  • Represent business areas during execution and delivery of digital solution projects
  • Contribute to process design for new digital initiatives
  • Evaluate delivered projects, measure benefits, and identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role or as a system manager for digital solutions within Clinical Development (e.g., Veeva)
  • Proven expertise in daily operations and maintenance of enterprise IT platforms such as Veeva Vaults, or other IT systems in clinical development
  • Experience collaborating with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, or similar domains is an advantage
  • Strong background in IT compliance and Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements (e.g., GAMP, IT testing, validation)
  • Proven track record in IT projects as a Subject Matter Expert, Senior Functional Lead, or Senior Project Manager
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$122,480.00 - $183,720.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
