The Role

Are you excited about working at the cutting edge of antibody research and discovery? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in identifying and validating novel antibody targets that can transform the future of cancer therapy? Keep reading!

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our Target Discovery team within the Discovery department. Here, you will collaborate with Scientists and Research Associates to discover and validate antibody targets using state-of-the-art technology, contributing directly to Genmab's innovative antibody development pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative team of Scientists and Research Associates dedicated to target discovery and validation of identified targets.
• Use a range of antibody products to validate identified targets.
• Accurately record scientific results and data in the appropriate systems.
• Take ownership of your experiments with a problem-solving mindset and a hands-on attitude that inspires others.
• Organize and plan your work effectively, learning to independently analyze and document test results, draw conclusions, and report findings to the team.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment that fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration.

• Currently enrolled in a Master's / HBO degree program at a Dutch university in Cellular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum of 7 months.
• You have completed at least one prior internship (this is not your first internship experience).
• Enthusiastic, open-minded, goal-oriented, and have a 'getting things done' mentality.
• Recognize the importance of working according to a quality system, adhering to procedures and maintaining detailed documentation of work.
• Hands-on experience in human cell culture, flow cytometry, and functional assays.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Internship duration: 7-10 months
• Start date: February 1st 2026 (or later)
• Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
• Work arrangement: Full-time, on-site internship position
