Description
Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships in a reoccurring frequency.
The territory covers dealerships within the Western Region. The selected candidate must live within a 50-mile radius of Phoenix, Arizona or relocate to assigned territory. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The Role
This position involves a high level of independent judgment and the ability to make decisions within the limits of general practices and procedures.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Demonstrate GM's Core Values and Cultural Priorities
- Develop and direct parts wholesale dealers outside sales representatives (OSR)
- Work with Aftersales Zone Manager and District Manager teams to achieve sales objectives
- Drive an increase in dealership wholesale part sales
- Maintain integration and interface with US-SSM and IAM teams
- Develop and grow wholesale market opportunities
- Develop and improve dealer outside sales processes
- Work to improve dealer satisfaction in fixed operations
- Work with dealers to improve profitability through wholesale operations
- Implement initiatives (e.g. Volume Discount Incentive)
- Collect, analyze and provide competitive information and challenges
- Communicate and ensure compliance to standards and policies
- Handle special assignments, investigations and confidential reports
- Coordinate and direct marketing budgets to create and implement market specific promotions to increase sales
- Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and other records in accordance with company instructions
- Submit any "special" reports regarding competitive products, market conditions, competitive policies, distribution activities, etc. as requested by management
- Support all customer training activities
- Attend conventions, special events and trade shows as required
- Perform all necessary administration functions including regular and special reports in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs/perceptions
- Keep abreast of current product developments and trends
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor Degree or relevant experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- 3-5 years experience in Aftermarket or Wholesale
- Travel as necessary - up to 50%

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
