Description
This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum
The Treasury Analyst will contribute to the development and execution of various corporate treasury initiatives and tasks, including but not limited to capital planning, liquidity & cash management, debt & equity capital markets, relationship management with banks & rating agencies, FX, commodities & interest hedging activity, corporate special projects, investments & structured finance, auto finance, pension funding, , supplier finance risk management, and (for CRM) insurance.

Responsibilities:
- Forecast daily cash investment requirements for GM's cash pooling entities
- Perform settlements for FX, investment and other transactions
- Managing GM's global multilateral netting process
- Oversight and execution of cash positioning transactions to appropriately fund various entities
- Execute Treasury wires to fund strategic alliances, acquisitions, and divestments
- Maintain bank accounts and related documentation for various GM entities
- Monitor and settle bank fees related to cash pooling entities
- Lead or support activities like audits, account reconciliations and tax validations
- Identify and manage process improvement projects
- Develop and manage relationships with banks
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
- The salary range for this role is ( 68,900- 105,700 ). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics or related
- 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities and time management skills
- Ability to structure presentations in straightforward, efficient manner
- Ability to provide accurate, timely, and reliable reporting and controls.
- Comfortable searching out and correcting inconsistent data; finds and fixes root cause of inconsistencies; understands the drivers.
- Function skills (experience with at least one of the following)
- Cash and Liquidity management
- Direct cash flow forecast
- Cross border flows / inter-company funding
- Compliance and control procedures

- Experience in corporate finance and treasury
- WSS (Wall Street Systems), SAP
- Critical thinking and inquisitive mind

- Effective business writer; able to provide a short synopsis and recommendation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
