Description

Update existing software and develop new software solutions to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem. Contribute to all development activities in accordance with appropriate methodologies and application of a repeatable, systematic and quantifiable approach to the development process. Work closely with more senior developers to ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks. Develop commercial software applications using sound, repeatable, industry standard methodologies. Write commercial software application solutions based on detailed requirements and system specifications. Telecommuting Available 100%.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study. Five years of experience as a Developer or related occupation. Or a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study. Three years of experience as a Developer or related occupation. Three years of experience with Design and development of highly available, distributed, and scalable transaction enterprise systems; UI/Java EE, Restful Web Services, JAX-RS, HTML, JavaScript, React/Angular, CSS, Spring Boot/Spring MVC and PowerShell, and azure; SQL / PLSQL coding, query performance and efficiency tuning; Web application development using client-side frameworks and libraries including AngularJS; Java test frameworks including Junit; Software Development Lifecycle, tools and methodologies including waterfall, scrum, and agile; Source control software (ADO, Git or SVN); Design and implement frameworks and technologies for Continuous Integration, Build and Delivery; and Network and client-server communication including REST, web sockets, and server-sent events.
