Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Define design vision & design OKRs and overall customer journey
    • Identify current and future design trends & analyzes potential opportunities and/or impact on the digital group
    • Create overall customer journey for the digital experiences across all brands
  • Design Practice Management
    • Grow and direct a team of 100+ user experience staff including multi-disciplinary designers, researchers, and strategists at various contributor and management levels
    • Develop and mature teams focused on creative, content, conversational, and product design
    • Manage relationships with and projects executed by third party design partners and agencies
    • Collaborate with design, product management, and technology leaders to implement operating standards for our studio to ensure speed to market, clear business impact, and design ROI
    • Function as a champion for user experience design across the enterprise, improving partnership and design influence and ensuring the best customer experience clarity and designed for

  • Lead and function as the voice of creative design and direction for the China Software and Digital Business Team
  • Integrate within global design to translate brand DNA into executable digital design language
  • Develop, implement, and drive adoption of a multi-brand design system
  • Advocate for world class digital brand experiences across the enterprise, including with senior leadership
  • Design Research
    • Develop research and data-informed design approaches to ensure the customer's voice drives experience strategies and safeguard design quality in execution
    • Leverage customer insights to explore and envision the future, champion advanced projects and initiatives with design at the forefront

  • Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience creating user interfaces, digital products, or complex software applications across a range of channels
    • 5+ years of experience directly managing creative or design teams
    • Bachelor's degree in Design, IT, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related discipline
    • Proven record of creating successful digital products or experiences at enterprise scale
    • Deep expertise in the user experience design process, agile software development methodologies, and product development lifecycles
    • Strong portfolio with work samples displaying expertise in user experience design, creativity, and depth of thought
    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale with clarity and objectivity; experience presenting to diverse audiences including senior leadership
    • Strong relationship building, influencing, and negotiation abilities with cross-functional and executive stakeholders
