Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Global Technical Center - Cadillac Tower, in Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

Relocation: This is not eligible for relocation. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

GM Envolve has traditionally been a leader of fleet vehicle sales in the rental, commercial and government segments. Going forward, GM Envolve is transforming beyond vehicle sales, bringing holistic Business to Business (B2B) & Business to Government (B2G) solutions to small, medium, and large organizations; focusing on complete end-to-end B2B/B2G solutions to help our partners meet their business goals. To meet our business objectives, the GM Envolve team is looking for a Rental Operations Analyst who will be responsible for helping to support the Rental Sales team. The Rental Operations Analyst will promote a customer-first approach by aiding the sales team in various operational activities.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with GM B2B business units to ensure customer success, solution adoption, and sales processing
  • Support Rental Sales Team with customer initiatives including but not limited to:
    • Customer Service & Logistics
      • Logistics Expedites
      • Diversion Requests
      • Rental FAN approval processing
    • Damaged in Transit liaison
    • Vehicle Turndown Management
    • Order Management
      • Manually approve and send to scheduling orders to align with the fleet guide
      • Align with Rental Car Co's. as needed to edit requested TPW's to align with our production and fleet guide (work with Envolve Solution Center as needed)
      • Constraint Management, Full Thru Schedule, Build-Out/Start-up
      • Monitor RAC order to minimum equipment guidelines
      • Order TPW and Specification Tracking & Approvals
    • Ad hoc Reporting
    • Inventory purification tracking and oversight
    • Customer Sales Proposal creation and updating
  • Participate in Central Office Operational meetings as rental team representative and provide feedback to rental leadership and team
  • Provide continuous feedback to internal stakeholders based on customer inquiries and concerns
  • Provide back-up support for Incentive Payment Process & Budget

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience required
  • 2+ years sales or operational experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence business partners
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities while maintaining effectiveness
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills that involves understanding the audience; getting the message across; presenting information effectively; and communicating openly
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, rapidly evolving industry and organization, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel , PowerPoint, and CRM account management applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with order fulfillment, supply chain and/or business planning
  • Process Management and Enhancement
