Our solution is a large scale, high availability cloud infrastructure, used as an endpoint by vehicle-based apps, and mobile apps.
As a Quality Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive software applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, utilizing your expertise in scripting, databases, and various development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirement documents to create detailed test scenarios that align with product specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
- Develop and maintain test scripts using Python and Bash to automate testing processes.
- Utilize SQL to query databases, validate data integrity, and support testing activities.
- Leverage tools such as Jira for issue tracking, Confluence for documentation, GitHub for version control, Jenkins for continuous integration, and Artifactory for artifact management.
- Work closely with development teams and various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and successful project outcomes.
- Maintain and update QA documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- SQL skills for database querying and validation.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Hebrew.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive software development and testing.
- Knowledge of hardware integration and testing.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
