Our solution is a large scale, high availability cloud infrastructure, used as an endpoint by vehicle-based apps, and mobile apps.
As a QA Automation Development Engineer , you will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to validate the functionality and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and improve test coverage across the system.
What will you do:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Python and Bash to validate software functionality.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and system testing.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Review requirement documents and translate them into automated test scenarios.
- Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity in test scenarios.
- Use Jira and Confluence for test case management, defect tracking, and documentation.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to identify testing opportunities and improve test efficiency.
- Contribute to test strategy discussions and perform code reviews to ensure automation quality.

Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong programming experience in Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with SQL for test data validation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, PyTest, Robot Framework).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication both in English and Hebrew.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive software testing and validation.
- Knowledge of hardware integration and system testing.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
