Description
Develop and document requirements required to design an automotive system. Develop and manage OEM partners in standards. Contribute technical expertise to operations on a support basis. Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies. Oversee requirements and development with other activities. Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis. Capture and analyze empirical data. Design tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements. Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans. Track corrective actions. Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. 25% travel to client sites nationwide. Telecommuting available 2 days a week.

Additional Description
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a Shift Leader Maintenance and Controls, Shift Leader Maintenance, Group Leader Maintenance or related occupation. Must also have experience with: Five (5) years of experience with: Siemens HMI and PLC; Rockwell HMI and PLC; and Machine electronics debug. Three (3) years of experience with Wiring schematic review and approvals for design acceptance. Two (2) years of experience with Fanuc Robot. One (1) year of experience with: Siemens CNC; Fanuc CNC; Project Management; and Project launch and delivery.
